SO HAPPY FINISHED MY FIRST MONTH!!!
The last day of the first month was a vast improvement when compared to the first day of insanity, the moves are still hard but i'm better. A bit scared for month 2 because it is suppose to be 10 times harder than month 1. However; i fee like if i can power though month one i can power through month 2.
So today i started the recovery week doing Core Cardio & Balance... i don't know why its called recovery week because its still hard and you still sweat like a bitch; BUT the pace is much slower than the video's in moth one and all the moves are doable. I didn't find myself soooooooo exhausted after the video. Shaun says this is a good thing as you don't want to over exert yourself in prep for month 2.
So i have decided to measure and weigh myself after the recovery week!!! still a bit scared but my sister says i need to know where i am so i can push to where i want to be in the second month of insanity. So that's something to look forward to... NOT REALLY!!
I wont be posting this week because its the same video all week, so i don't see much point. However if i feel there is something i need to say then i will post. So watch out for the next post potentially holding my new wight and measurements!!!!

OMG SOOOO SORRY FOR NOT POSTING DAY 26 DONE!!!
Hey guys sooooo sorry that i haven't posted in like 2 weeks it has been a combination of business and laziness sorry again...
Ok so lets fill you in on whats been going on with insanity!!!
Ok so first things first, the workouts have still been INSANE but honestly guys i am soooo much fitter than compared to 4 weeks ago!! I can push for sooo much longer. I'm not perfect but i can see drastic improvements. ( I can do the warm up at the same speed as those in the video!!). So fitness is looking up. In terms of weight and inch loss; i have not weighed myself or measured inches :(. To be totally honest i do not see that much of a change maybe its because i look at myself in the mirror everyday; my sister says she sees a change especially on my waist (i suppose that's a good thing :)!!). Nevertheless i am soooo scared to measure and weigh myself. I think i'm scared because if i haven't lost anything i feel like it will discourage me and i would want to give up; this has happened before. I would rather not know and keep on pushing with insanity. I will be going to Uganda in about 2 weeks so will have to stop insanity for a bit ( will be building a playground out there so hope to lose wight in the heat whiles doing manual labour) so i will measure myself before then, i just have to pluck up the courage!!
Ok so in terms of nutrition it has been not to bad. Last week was my birthday so i had a cheat day and treated myself to a few drinks and some cake. Other than that i have had some white rice which is bad but i have not have it in excess. Its just been 3 times and the portions were very small. On a even sadder my USN meal replacement shake has FINISHED :(!!!. But i will get more and start it up again when i get back form Uganda; its not worth getting now.
Right so i wanted to push myself a little further so i have started Shaun T's Hip Hop abs!!! so far not so good i have only done 2 days but i am finding it boring and monotonous i thought it would be a bit faster and up beat. Nevertheless i will try and push through for the results; hopefully the other videos are better.
Anyhoo look out for me posting my measurements and weight god willing there is change!!

day 15 (half way through the first month 1/4 down, 3/4 to go) YAAAY
Hey guys just finished Pure Cardio and Insane Abs and i'm feeling A LOT better than yesterday.... since stopping the liver detox i have a lot more energy; i'm still recovering but i am feeling a lot better... so big smiles :).
I'm coming to terms with the fact that this weight loss not going to happen over night and im preparing myself for the long journey of hard work!! feeling a but more optimistic than yesterday. My sister has a personal trainer (she is slim and fit!!) so she is teaching me a lot about a balanced diet. its really hard when i comes to food because no matter what i do or learn it seems i am doing it all wrong even with the aid on the insanity eating program. I have learnt i just need to stick to a healthy eating program that works for me!!!

Day 14 and 15!!
Hey guys BIG apology for not posing yesterday i was super busy, i did the fit test but did not have enough time to post... anyhoo these are my second fit test results

So minor improvements but nevertheless improvements. i don't see any change in appearance and i do not feel that i have lost any weight, i am trying to not let this get me down and push on still; but not gonna lie its hard. However; apparently you lose most of the weight in the second month. my sister says it will take me about a year or more to get the body i want and a complete lifestyle change so i suppose i have to just keep this thing up but mainly focus on eating a proper balanced diet that i will continue even after insanity. Because honestly i haven't been eating properly :(... i need to learn patience with this weight loss thing!!
Anyway done Cardio Circuit today and i'm telling you it was bloody hard!! i think its because i am still suffering from severe hay fever and i have never felt sooooo weak in my life!!! it does not help that i am doing this liver detox which is really restrictive with regards to food. i have noticed that it leaves me with very little energy (does say only do light exercise) which is not helping as insanity is high intensity so you need more energy. because of all of these factors i think i will abandon the full fast track liver detox for now but make some simple lifestyle changes that help my liver like drinking more lemon water!!!

Day 13
Okk guys big apology for not posting yesterday!! i was soooooooooooooooooooooo ill, got hit by sever hay fever; if any of you suffer from it you will know why i had to take a day off. So i didn't do a video yesterday and took that as my off day instead of today; so tomorrow i will just go into my fit test!!
Ok first things first; just completed Insane Abs and Pure Cardio. Pure Cardio is still hard put its getting easier to do :). On the other hand; with insane abs i found the level 3 moves hard. Though there are no sit ups you are sill working your abs if not harder than you usually would!!
On a different note i start my liver detox tomorrow so i will tell you all how that goes; i'm looking forward to seeing the results!! :)

Day 12 done and i LOVED IT lool!!!
Guys i'm happy today because i feel like i PUSHED no punishment for me today YAAAY!!
Right got a few things to say...
Firstly, as i said i will be starting my liver detox at the beginning of week 3, this will consist of 11 days. Days 1-7 i will be eating only liver loving and colon cleansing foods... Day 8 will consist of a juice fast where i will be only drinking a special recipe juice that flushes out the liver... and finally the last 3 days will be me readjusting my eating habits. Because this is 11 days and will spill over in to week 4 i have decided to take my measurements at the end of week 4 not week 3 (AHHH THE ANTICIPATION!!!!).
Secondly as advised by my friend i will now do minor plank work in the evenings to help build up my core strength (this will help improve my form within the workouts, but also help me push longer). Will let you know if it helps.
And lastly i have decided to not take an off day doing insanity i will instead do some yoga to help me become more flexible, enhance my balance but also help me relax.

Day 11 Cardio Recovery
So... just finished Cardio Recovery and i'm telling you guys; i was sweating like a BITCH!!! i thought since its not cardio i wouldn't sweat as much but i was DRIPPING!! so that went ok; trying to build up my core strength.
Had only one slice of bread today so yaaay that's on track! Next fit test soon can't wait to see the change & can't wait till week 3 to start my liver detox (date confirmed start of week 3) and to see if there are any changes in my measurements.

Day 10 DONE
Just finished day 10 and feeling ok... don't feel like i pushed hard enough, so for punishment will go for a jog tomorrow evening. I feel that doing workouts later in the day is not working for me; i have more energy in the mornings (STRANGELY). So, i will stop with the late workouts and the late posts because the early bird catches the worm; or in this case it pushes harder on its workout.
Anyhoo feeling a bit funny about my diet; although i am eating roughly around 1500 calories a day i feel like i have been eating too much bread (mostly because its quick and easy to make a slice of bread with peanut butter and banana). i eat about 2 sometimes 3 slices a day (depending on if i missed on of the 5 meals, to make up the calories) i will now only eat one slice a day and see how that goes!!!
Found out some interesting things about the liver detox but am still trying to find a program that i can do with insanity as most liver detox program require only light exercise which i am not doing.
GONNA TRY AND PUSH HARDER AND LONGER!!!

Day 9 Pure Cardio
Day 9 Pure Cardio Done THANK GOD!!
Just finished Pure Cardio and it was just as INSANE as last week... i did a little bit better but my god its still the hardest video of them all. I'm looking forward to my next fit test to see how much i have improved because i feel a lot better and healthier than before.
i have been doing some research and learnt that a healthy detoxed liver is good for a healthy body and maintained weight loss (strange i know but true!!) so in the next coming weeks (i will let you know when, just need to do a bit more research) i will be undergoing a one week liver detox; so will let you know how that goes.

Day 8 DONE!!!
Day 8!! (finished about 5 minuets ago and im still sweating!!!)
Sorry again for the late post had another crazy day, had to sort out my student finance and buy stuff for my trip to Uganda (ohh yh forgot to say, I will be going to Uganda soon to build a playground for some children!!!)... Anyhooo done day 8 (Cardio Power & Resistance) and again i feel good, i feel i can push harder and harder. i am finding the moves a little less difficult so i can go a little longer without stopping or compromising my form... So far so good i would recommend this to everybody; its soooo good for my anxiety some how it helps me release all my worries, so after a workout i can just relax :)
On a different note the USN shake is still working wonders :) BUT!!!... It does make you pass wind A LOT and when i say A LOT i mean A LOT... but that wont stop me form using it because its working so well for me :)...

Day 6 And i am feeling GOOD!!!
Day 6 done and WOOOW like i mean WOOOOW
Sorry for the late post guys today has been crazy. I got called last minuet to an audition for a big movie so had to spend the morning pepping for it (fingers crossed i get a call back)... ANYHOO i feel sooooooo good after this workout, it was the Plyometric Cardio Circuit again and don't get me wrong it was still HARD but i was able to push more than on the first day (i can now do 4 small push ups YAAAAY!!!). Honestly guys; i feel my body changing for the better; getting fitter!!!! (And its only been a week!!!). After today and how i feel now i will never give up, i will remember this feeling and push even HARDER!!!!
Also I'm telling you the USN meal replacement shake woks wonders... i no longer feel to snack between meals because it really does fill me up and curb cravings (thinking about it i haven't craved chocolate or sweets in the past 3 days, something must be working). its still early days with the shake so i will keep you posted :). Overall today has been crazy but I'm a happy bunny :)

Day 5!!
Day 5!!!!! MY USN SHAKE CAME TODAY YAAAY!!!!
So, today was Pure Cardio and guys it is nooo joke. I think this is the hardest one of them all. Like seriously its SOOOOOOOOOOO HARD loool. I don't think i pushed as much as i could have today so i am going to punish myself by doing a fit test later lool :)... on a brighter note i do think my stamina has improved i'm finding i can go that little bit longer than before AANNDD my muscles have stopped hurting yaay!!!!!
The USN meal replacement shake came today, i got chocolate flavour to try and curb my chocolate cravings. It tastes like an artificial chocolate shake. But tastes better than it sounds. And it does a bloody good job of keeping you full!! It also gave me a lot of energy for the workout!! So for now it gets 2 thumbs up but that may change so i will keep you posted.

Day 4 done WOOOP WOOOP!!!

This video took a lot of control, balance and flexibility which i do not have much of yet but as i said in previous posts i'm sure i will get better in time. Though it was slower i did sweat (made me feel like i was digging deep lol). Feeling good after Cardio Recovery... Roll on tomorrow for PURE CARDIO!!! :-)

Day 3 done YAAAAY!!!!
So today was Cardio Power & Resistance!! this was HARD but honestly i feel im doing that little bit better (i can now just about do a proper push up lool), i feel i could have pushed harder so tomorrow i am going to PUSH!!..
On a different note; today i woke up and was sooooo TIRED my body has never felt that tired before... i had to stay an extra hour in bed just to recover. Before doing insanity i decided that i was not going to take Shakeology (protein meal replacement shake) because it is tooo expensive. But after how i felt this morning and the research i have done i feel like it is worth getting as it also helps my body recover. As i said i have done some research and am still not going to use Shakeology but try USN Diet Fuel Ultralean as some people have used it with insanity and got awesome results!!! So i will let you know the difference in taking it when it arrives.
I have decided not to weigh myself as some have said it messes with your progress because you do gain muscle weight (which can be discouraging). However i will be tracking my measurements every 3 weeks, which currently stands at...
Waist: 38.1 inches
Hips: 46 inches
Under Bust: 37 inches

On the other hand, nutrition is proving a bit difficult. you have to eat 5 small meals a day and i am struggling to find time to eat all of those meals; but i figure i will get better as time passes!!!

why i am doing the 60 day INSANITY program!!!

Its Honestly starting up a blog about my 60 day insanity workout journey. I have struggled with my weight all my life and at my biggest was a whopping 18st at 5ft 3inches. About 3 years ago i decided to take my weight into my own hands and go to the gym and start eating healthily. This worked and i lost 4st; but since going to uni my eating habits have changed for the worse and i have become very lazy (so gained some weight). From this my self confidence has plummeted, i now feel down a lot; suffering from panic attacks and depression. So, i feel if my weight is getting me down its time to stop being lazy go "INSANE" AND SHED THAT WEIGHT!!! This is why i'm going insanity!!! I want to prove to myself and others that it can be done; i want to encourage all who are feeling down about their weight letting you know you are not alone; and though the road may be tough we can lose wight together. For the fist time in a long time i'm optimistic about losing weight, and i hope that some of you will flow in my optimism and do this with me!!! :)
