FIRST MONTH OF INSANITY DONE WOOOP WOOOP!!! (ALSO DONE CORE CARDIO AND BALANCE TODAY)

SO HAPPY FINISHED MY FIRST MONTH!!!

The last day of the first month was a vast improvement when compared to the first day of insanity, the moves are still hard but i'm better. A bit scared for month 2 because it is suppose to be 10 times harder than month 1. However; i fee like if i can power though month one i can power through month 2.

So today i started the recovery week doing Core Cardio & Balance... i don't know why its called recovery week because its still hard and you still sweat like a bitch; BUT the pace is much slower than the video's in moth one and all the moves are doable. I didn't find myself soooooooo exhausted after the video. Shaun says this is a good thing as you don't want to over exert yourself in prep for month 2.

So i have decided to measure and weigh myself after the recovery week!!! still a bit scared but my sister says i need to know where i am so i can push to where i want to be in the second month of insanity. So that's something to look forward to... NOT REALLY!!

I wont be posting this week because its the same video all week, so i don't see much point. However if i feel there is something i need to say then i will post. So watch out for the next post potentially holding my new wight and measurements!!!!

OMG SOOOO SORRY FOR NOT POSTING DAY 26 DONE!!!

Hey guys sooooo sorry that i haven't posted in like 2 weeks it has been a combination of business and laziness sorry again...

Ok so lets fill you in on whats been going on with insanity!!!

Ok so first things first, the workouts have still been INSANE but honestly guys i am soooo much fitter than compared to 4 weeks ago!! I can push for sooo much longer. I'm not perfect but i can see drastic improvements. ( I can do the warm up at the same speed as those in the video!!). So fitness is looking up. In terms of weight and inch loss; i have not weighed myself or measured inches :(. To be totally honest i do not see that much of a change maybe its because i look at myself in the mirror everyday; my sister says she sees a change especially on my waist (i suppose that's a good thing :)!!). Nevertheless i am soooo scared to measure and weigh myself. I think i'm scared because if i haven't lost anything i feel like it will discourage me and i would want to give up;  this has happened before. I would rather not know and keep on pushing with insanity. I will be going to Uganda in about 2 weeks so will have to stop insanity for a bit ( will be building a playground out there so hope to lose wight in the heat whiles doing manual labour) so i will measure myself before then, i just have to pluck up the courage!!

Ok so in terms of nutrition it has been not to bad. Last week was my birthday so i had a cheat day and treated myself to a few drinks and some cake. Other than that i have had some white rice which is bad but i have not have it in excess. Its just been 3 times and the portions were very small. On a even sadder my USN meal replacement shake has FINISHED :(!!!. But i will get more and start it up again when i get back form Uganda; its not worth getting now.

Right so i wanted to push myself a little further so i have started Shaun T's Hip Hop abs!!! so far not so good i have only done 2 days but i am finding it boring and monotonous i thought it would be a bit faster and up beat. Nevertheless i will try and push through for the results; hopefully the other videos are better.

Anyhoo look out for me posting my measurements and weight god willing there is change!!

day 15 (half way through the first month 1/4 down, 3/4 to go) YAAAY

Hey guys just finished Pure Cardio and Insane Abs and i'm feeling A LOT better than yesterday.... since stopping the liver detox i have a lot more energy; i'm still recovering but i am feeling a lot better... so big smiles :).

I'm coming to terms with the fact that this weight loss not going to happen over night and im preparing myself for the long journey of hard work!! feeling a but more optimistic than yesterday. My sister has a personal trainer (she is slim and fit!!) so she is teaching me a lot about a balanced diet. its really hard when i comes to food because no matter what i do or learn it seems  i am doing it all wrong even with the aid on the insanity eating program. I have learnt i just need to stick to a healthy eating program that works for me!!!

Day 14 and 15!!

Hey guys BIG apology for not posing yesterday i was super busy, i did the fit test but did not have enough time to post... anyhoo these are my second fit test results

(how many of an exercise move you can do in a minuet)
Switch Kicks : 50...69
Power Jacks: 38...51
Power  Knees: 70...77
Power Jumps: 15...26
Globe Jumps: 5...8
Suicide Jumps: 11...11
Push Up Jacks: 4...9
Low Plank Oblique: 21...32

So minor improvements but nevertheless improvements. i don't see any change in appearance and i do not feel that i have lost any weight, i am trying to not let this get me down and push on still; but not gonna lie its hard. However; apparently you lose most of the weight in the second month. my sister says it will take me about a year or more to get the body i want and a complete lifestyle change so i suppose i have to just keep this thing up but mainly  focus on eating a proper balanced diet that i will continue even after insanity. Because honestly i haven't been eating properly :(... i need to learn patience with this weight loss thing!!

Anyway done Cardio Circuit today and i'm telling you it was bloody hard!! i think its because i am still suffering from severe hay  fever and i have never felt sooooo weak in my life!!! it does not help that i am doing this liver detox which is really restrictive with regards to food. i have noticed that it leaves me with very little energy (does say only do light exercise) which is not helping as insanity is high intensity so you need more energy. because of all of these factors i think i will abandon the full fast track liver detox for now but make some simple lifestyle changes that help my liver like drinking more lemon water!!!

Day 13

Okk guys big apology for not posting yesterday!! i was soooooooooooooooooooooo ill, got hit by sever hay fever; if any of you suffer from it you will know why i had to take a day off. So i didn't do a video yesterday and took that as my off day instead of today; so tomorrow i will just go into my fit test!! 

Ok first things first; just completed Insane Abs and Pure Cardio. Pure Cardio is still hard put its getting easier to do :). On the other hand; with insane abs i found the level 3 moves hard. Though there are no sit ups you are sill working your abs if not harder than you usually would!!

On a different note i start my liver detox tomorrow so i will tell you all how that goes; i'm looking forward to seeing the results!! :)

Day 12 done and i LOVED IT lool!!!

Guys i'm happy today because i feel like i PUSHED no punishment for me today YAAAY!!

Right got a few things to say...

Firstly, as i said i will be starting my liver detox at the beginning of week 3, this will consist of 11 days. Days 1-7 i will be eating only liver loving and colon cleansing foods... Day 8 will consist of a juice fast where i will be only drinking a special recipe juice that flushes out the liver... and finally the last 3 days will be me readjusting my eating habits. Because this is 11 days and will spill over in to week 4 i have decided to take my measurements at the end of week 4 not week 3 (AHHH THE ANTICIPATION!!!!).

Secondly as advised by my friend i will now do minor plank work in the evenings to help build up my core strength (this will help improve my form within the workouts, but also help me push longer). Will let you know if it helps.

And lastly i have decided to not take an off day doing insanity i will instead do some yoga to help me become more flexible, enhance my balance but also help me relax.

Day 11 Cardio Recovery

So... just finished Cardio Recovery and i'm telling you guys; i was sweating like a BITCH!!! i thought since its not cardio i wouldn't sweat as much but i was DRIPPING!! so that went ok; trying to build up my core strength.

Had only one slice of bread today so yaaay that's on track! Next fit test soon can't wait to see the change & can't wait till week 3 to start my liver detox (date confirmed start of week 3) and to see if there are any changes in my measurements.
